Join Us In 52 Weeks Of Prayer

Each week during our prayer time we will highlight a specific group in our community (local law enforcement, schools, hospitals, military, government leaders, foster care/DCS, farmers, missionaries, etc.) as is an intentional way for our congregation to remain prayerful, outwardly focused, and unified as we intercede for our community and beyond.

This week in our 52-Week Prayer Focus, we are lifting up one of the missionaries and mission organizations we support. We are grateful for the ways God is working not just in our community, but around the world—through people and ministries faithfully serving in His name.

This week, we are praying for Mt. Vernon LifeWise, the broader LifeWise Academy organization, and Tina Kerfoot, who serves as our local area director.

LifeWise is impacting students by providing Bible education during the school day, helping children learn about Jesus, Scripture, and the hope found in Him. We are thankful for the ways God continues to open doors for this ministry in our community and for the many students and families being reached.

As the ministry continues to grow, there are many opportunities and needs that require prayer and support.

Prayer Points
👩 Leadership
Pray for Tina Kerfoot as she leads Mt. Vernon LifeWise. Ask God to give her wisdom, strength, encouragement, and clarity as she oversees the ministry and its continued growth.

🙋 Volunteers
Pray that God would raise up faithful volunteers, teachers, drivers, and helpers who are passionate about investing in students and sharing the love of Jesus.

💛 Fundraising & Resources
Pray for financial provision through churches, donors, businesses, and community partnerships so the ministry can continue growing and serving students effectively.

🚌 Vehicles & Transportation
Pray for additional vehicles, safe transportation, and the logistics involved in transporting students to and from programming each week.

🏢 Building Capacity & Logistics
Pray for wisdom regarding space, scheduling, organization, and overall ministry logistics as LifeWise continues expanding and serving more students.

📖 Students & Families
Pray that students would not only learn Bible stories, but truly encounter Jesus and grow in faith. Pray also for families to be impacted and encouraged through the ministry.

🌍 The Larger LifeWise Organization
Pray for the broader LifeWise Academy organization as they continue expanding into schools and communities across the country. Ask God to guide their leadership and open doors for continued gospel impact.
