Join Us In 52 Weeks Of Prayer

Each week during our prayer time we will highlight a specific group in our community (local law enforcement, schools, hospitals, military, government leaders, foster care/DCS, farmers, missionaries, etc.) as is an intentional way for our congregation to remain prayerful, outwardly focused, and unified as we intercede for our community and beyond.

This week in our 52-Week Prayer Focus, we are lifting up one of the missionaries and mission organizations we support. We are grateful for the ways God is working not just in our community, but around the world—through people and ministries faithfully serving in His name.

This week, we are praying for Samaritan’s Purse and their ministry Operation Christmas Child (OCC).

Samaritan’s Purse is impacting lives globally through disaster relief, humanitarian aid, and gospel-centered outreach. Through Operation Christmas Child, millions of children receive shoebox gifts each year—each one an opportunity to experience the love of Jesus in a tangible way.

Here at our church, Electra Campbell and Pastor Tina invest countless hours into leading and organizing this effort. This year, we are preparing to pack 1,600 shoeboxes across two packing parties—an incredible opportunity to serve and make a global impact together.

🙏 How to Pray

📦 Operation Christmas Child (OCC)
Pray for this year’s goal of 1,600 shoeboxes—that every box would be filled, packed with care, and used by God to reach a child with the love of Jesus.

🙌 Local Leadership & Volunteers
Pray for Electra Campbell and Pastor Tina, along with all the volunteers serving in this ministry. Ask God to give them energy, wisdom, organization, and joy as they lead and prepare for the packing parties.

🌍 Global Impact
Pray for the children who will receive these boxes—that their hearts would be open to the gospel and that each gift would point them to the hope and truth of Jesus.

🚚 Disaster Relief Efforts
Pray for Samaritan’s Purse disaster relief teams as they respond to crises around the world. Ask God to protect them, strengthen them, and use their work to bring both physical help and spiritual hope.

👥 Leadership & Ministry Direction
Pray for the leaders of Samaritan’s Purse—that God would guide their decisions, provide resources, and expand their impact in every area of ministry.

✝ Gospel Opportunities
Pray that every outreach effort—whether through OCC, disaster relief, or other initiatives—would clearly communicate the gospel and lead people into a relationship with Jesus.

May God bless Samaritan’s Purse, Operation Christmas Child, and all who are part of this mission—both globally and here in our church. May every box packed, every act of service, and every moment of obedience point people to Jesus.
